By Amtrak, commuter rail, or bus into South StationFollow signs at South Station for the T (subway). Take the Red Line inbound, past Downtown Crossing and Park Street where the same direction becomes known as outbound, to the Harvard stop. Continue with the directions "by subway" below. The travel time on the subway should be 15-20 minutes. By commuter rail into North StationOnce you arrive at North Station, head for the T (subway). As soon as you can cross Cambridge Street, turn left and do so over the underpass, and keep going north past the Science Center (a sprawling modern building on your right).
